For years Lewis Hamilton has dominated the sport with no competition. He has gone on faultless in 99% of his races but whiney if something not his way. While Hamilton may be a top class racing driver he’s turning into a bit of a diva and thinks the world owes him something. I mean remember when he turned up to Wimbledon and tried to watch the match but got refused as not in proper attaire? That’s what you call the Lewis Hamilton effect were he thinks the world owes him something as he a multiple time world champion. Now like I said, behind the wheel he is untouchable. His teammates all look like they have a B-Spec version of his car. He dominates, qualifies well, wins races, knows racing tracks inside and out. This man does his homework on every race track and uses the simulators to top effect.
As also stated above Lewis has been without any competition for years. But with Mercedes having to dump their party mode and a restriction on developments of cars, we are now seeing a much closer battle. Hamilton vs. Verstappen seemed last race weekend to be the challenge of the season however this weekend, Sergio Perez has gone and threw his car in there. While Lewis could still win this, he seems happier with competition and I think we are all happy at home too. We should surely see a lot more on track racing and overtaking opportunities this season.
Will Lewis get another World Championship or will we see a new champion crowned?
